Sport

In terms of team sports our students participate in the well-run "Klein Skole Liga" (Small Schools League) in rugby, netball, co-ed mini-cricket and annual Athletics Championships.

These competitions include teams from nine smaller schools in the region and played at different venues, e.g. Robertson and Bredasdorp.

Our endurance-minded sports enthusiasts also participate in Biathlon races (swim & run) and Fun Runs.

King's affiliated with the Boland Chess Union in September 2008, and this latest addition to our sports programme is an important step in assuring holistic development of our students.

Whilst the participation at regional events is optional, all students are required to receive chess instruction during specially arranged sessions at school.
