We have an educational mindset that seeks to enrich and broaden the learning experience of the students under our care.
Life Skills: This initiative features diverse units, e.g. Arts & Crafts, Food Technology, Photography. We are grateful for an enthusiastic and active parent body that volunteers to present some of these Life Skills units, in addition to members of the community that share their expertise with our students.
Recent units in 2009 included the annual whole school drama recently performed at the local NG Kerksaal entitled "Destiny in Persia", depicting Biblical scenes, culminating in the High School performance of queen Esther's incredible story.

Trips and outreach: Students usually participate in three trips per term, each outing having a specific focus - academic, incentive-based (Honour Roll) or outreach. Outreaches usually involve the students blessing appropriate members of the community with physical and spiritual upliftment.

Fundraisers are an integral part of our school, we have quarterly fundraisers including chickenbraai’s which are well known in the town of Montagu. May 2010 saw a very successful chicken braai where we were able to bless children, from three different primary schools, with a meal. This was a great experience for the students of Kings as they were able to give to those in need.
